Origins of the Dragon Boat Festival
The Dragon Boat Festival, held on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month, is a cherished Chinese holiday. It honors poet and patriot Qu Yuan, symbolizing unity and resilience for over 2,000 years. The festival features dragon boat races, zongzi (sticky rice dumplings), and crafts like sachet-making for protection and good fortune.
A Day of Fun and Team Bonding
Minissimi’s event blended tradition with team spirit. Leaders shared the festival’s cultural significance, setting a meaningful tone. Employees received Dragon Boat Festival gift sets, including zongzi, milk, and festive decorations, as a thank-you for their hard work.
The highlight was a handmade sachet-making workshop. In a colorful activity room scented with mugwort and calamus, artisans guided employees to craft fragrant sachets.
